Bright sight of life

out of the shadows we came
as we try to step into the light
as we try to make things right
the past still casts it’s shame

i see you, little boy, so bold
holding little sister’s fragile hand
the more the sun moved away
your shadow grew tall, tall, TALL…

now it’s time to let go
the shadow and the boy to blend
